My decision on the Youtuber course of Ali Abdaal

This is the third day of the 30 day writing challenge and I couldn’t decide on which topic I should write about lol

Okay, I should lower the bar. I should write about my thoughts lately

I’m going to buy the “YouTube course” of Ali Abdaal

(Yup, that course costs almost $2k I know)

Few days ago, Ali announced that this Part-time Youtuber Academy course is going to be the final live one. And I was like, internally yelling: “wtf, nooo”

Actually, when starting out on YouTube, I made a promise to myself that if I reached 1000 subscribers on YouTube, I will buy that course. But when I reach 1000 subs after like 6 months, I was like urg, maybe I should buy it when I reach 10k subs?

I don’t know why I didn’t buy the course at that time. It’s not about the money. I’ve actually had a separate saving pool for YouTube and saved more than enough for it. Maybe I was scared that if I bought it, I would have to be all in too early lol

But damn, now this is going to be final live one

I talked to myself: let’s think and reconsider this after 3 days

I asked myself: What is it that you want to buy it NOW?

Maybe after this course, he will sell it under like, normally pre-recording kind of video course. But it’s not what I’m looking forward to.

Apart from helping me building a system (which will save me hell lots of time), this live course will be like going to university, having mentors, and having a community. And these stuff is going to hold me accountable.

Also, I did decided to learn this course someday in my life already, this time I just have to take it a little earlier than expected, and I can handle it.

So yes, I’m going to buy the course tomorrow
